HackSpire'25 was the flagship 25-hour hackathon of the FIEM ACM Student Chapter  named the Most Active ACM Student Chapter in East India  held at the Future Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, from 31 October to 1 November 2025. More than 4,100 registrations from around the world narrowed to 254 in-person builders and 55 finalist teams, working across AI, Web3, Cloud, IoT, and Sustainability. It was Hack plus Inspire: a community-driven movement where mentorship, craft, and Shakti turned ideas into work that could stand in the world.

The review panel begins evaluating submissions. Approved teams receive next-step guidance and access to what comes next.

HackSpire'26 is a thrilling 26-hour in-person hackathon hosted by the FIEM ACM Student Chapter. Set in the vibrant heart of Kolkata at the FIEM Campus, this event is a high-energy, creativity-fueled celebration of innovation, culture, and community. Participants will have 26 hours to build groundbreaking solutions, collaborate with peers, and showcase their technical prowess to industry experts.

Registration is simple and completely free of cost! Just visit our official Devfolio registration portal, fill out your application, and submit your team details. Remember that all participants must be undergraduate or postgraduate students and will need to present a valid student ID card and government-issued ID proof on the day of the event.

No, HackSpire'26 is strictly an in-person offline hackathon. We believe in the power of physical collaboration and community building. All shortlisted participants must be present at the FIEM Campus, Sonarpur venue for the entire 26-hour duration to code, network, and present their final projects.

Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members. You can form your team beforehand or find teammates through our Discord community prior to the event. Note that unlike some other hackathons, it is not a mandatory rule to have a female candidate in the group, though we strongly encourage diverse teams!

Yes! Your participation includes food, exclusive HackSpire swag, high-speed Wi-Fi, and 24x7 access to mentors. Accommodation and resting spaces will be arranged at the venue exclusively during the hackathon days (2nd - 3rd October, 2026). Just bring your laptops, chargers, and enthusiasm!
